Hosting

The website runs on the MindStudio (Remy) platform, which provides hosting and application execution. The platform relies on technical subcontractors, including AI model providers and an email delivery provider. Some of these providers may process data outside Switzerland and the EU.

Intellectual Property

All content on the website (texts, structure, graphics, logos, trademarks, methodologies, materials and visual elements) is the property of WALVIS or is used under licence. It is protected by copyright and trademark law.

  • Any reproduction, representation, modification, adaptation or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited.
  • Browsing the website and using its content for personal, non-commercial purposes is permitted.
  • Third-party names and trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.

Liability

Website content. WALVIS endeavours to publish accurate and up-to-date information but does not guarantee its completeness, accuracy or currency. Content is general and informational. It is neither personalised advice nor a contractual offer.

Availability. Access to the website may be interrupted or restricted at any time, in particular for maintenance or in the event of a failure. WALVIS cannot be held liable for such interruptions.

External links. The website may contain links to third-party sites. WALVIS has no control over their content and accepts no responsibility for them.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, WALVIS excludes liability for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website. This exclusion does not apply in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or where liability is mandatory by law.

Online Diagnostic and AI-Generated Content

The website offers an online diagnostic whose first reading is produced by artificial intelligence models.

  • Nature of the result. The first reading is generated automatically from your answers. It is indicative and may contain errors, approximations or omissions.
  • No professional advice. It is not legal, tax, financial or accounting advice, nor a binding strategic recommendation, nor a promise of results. It creates no engagement between you and WALVIS.
  • No automated decision. An AI-assisted internal pre-triage may be carried out, but no decision is made by automated means. A human reviews each request and decides on the follow-up.
  • Your responsibility. You are responsible for verifying the result and should not base important decisions on it alone. The information you enter must be accurate. Please avoid entering sensitive data or trade secrets that are not necessary.
  • Sector experts. If you give separate consent, your request may be shared with an external sector expert bound by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

Personal Data Protection

WALVIS processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data collected. The forms (AI diagnostic, contact, expert network application) collect: first name, last name, email, company, job title, country, phone number (optional), free-text message and answers about your company.

Consents. They are separate, timestamped and never pre-checked:

  1. processing of your request (mandatory);
  2. sharing with an external sector expert (optional);
  3. receiving news (optional).

Double opt-in. Your request is validated through a link sent by email, valid for 7 days and single use. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after 30 days.

Retention. Contacts inactive for 24 months are deleted or anonymised.

Recipients and processors:

  • the hosting platform (MindStudio / Remy);
  • the email delivery provider;
  • AI model providers, accessed through the platform;
  • Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC for Google Analytics 4, only if you have given consent;
  • external sector experts, only with your consent and under NDA.

Transfers outside Switzerland and the EU. They rely on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses.

Security. The following measures are in place: HTTPS, passwordless admin login, server-side access control, single-use tokens, rate limiting and an audit log.

Your rights. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them, write to: dpo@walvis.ch.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, Switzerland) or with an EU supervisory authority such as the CNIL in France.

Cookies and Audience Measurement

  • walvis_consent: stored in your browser's localStorage, it remembers your choice for 6 months.
  • Google Analytics 4 (_ga, ga): set only if you accept them, for up to 13 months. Consent Mode v2 is active, with denial by default. The IP address is not used to identify you and no personal data is sent.
  • Platform audience measurement: it is cookieless and provides country-level statistics.
  • Admin session cookie: present only on /crm, it is strictly necessary and does not concern visitors.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser, which brings the consent banner back.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This website and this legal notice are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions or mandatory rules on jurisdiction, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of WALVIS (address: Rue des Remparts 10, 1950 Sion, Switzerland).

Changes

WALVIS may amend this legal notice at any time. The version published on the website prevails.
